About the Role

Chandler Macleod is seeking a skilled Maintenance Fitter to join the team at Baiada, Beresfield. As a key member of the maintenance team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the optimal performance of equipment and machinery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine welding and general machining tasks to maintain and repair equipment
  • Maintain and overhaul mechanical equipment to ensure optimal performance
  • Diagnose and repair faults in bearings, mechanical drives, and transmission assemblies
  • Install and remove mechanical seals and perform gland packing
About You

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Fitter with a strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot plant equipment issues. You will have:

  • Trade qualifications as a Mechanical Fitter and recent experience in manufacturing processes and equipment maintenance
  • Confidence to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work well as part of a team and independently
  • Australian citizenship or permanent residency of Australia (legally entitled to work in Australia)
  • Current Driver's Licence and reliable transportation
