Cloud Solutions Engineer Role

\

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Solutions Engineer to join our team in Melbourne. As a Cloud Solutions Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing and managing secure, high-performing cloud and hybrid solutions.

\

This role blends deep expertise in Azure, Microsoft 365, VMware and on-premises environments with advanced skills across the Microsoft Defender Suite, Defender for Cloud, Sentinel and Purview.

Key Responsibilities:

  • \
  • Lead the design, deployment and optimisation of Azure, Microsoft 365, VMware and hybrid infrastructure.\
  • Deliver cloud migration, modernisation and integration projects.\
  • Implement and manage virtual networks, compute, storage, backup and disaster recovery (Azure, VMware, Veeam).\
  • Configure and optimise Intune for endpoint lifecycle management.\
  • Deploy and configure Microsoft Defender Suite, Sentinel and Purview solutions.\
  • Conduct threat modelling, security hardening and compliance configuration.\
  • Provide L3/L4 support, collaborate with the SOC on investigations and perform proactive system health checks.\
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical standards.\
  • Skill Requirements:\
    • \
    • 5+ years in infrastructure engineering with Azure, Microsoft 365 and VMware.\
    • Strong track record in Microsoft security solution delivery.\
    • Expertise in networking, identity and access management and hybrid AD.\
    • Solid experience with Intune, Autopilot and backup/DR solutions.\
    • Customer-facing project and operational support experience.\
    • Relevant Microsoft and VMware certifications highly regarded.\
