About the Position

Our Commercial Business Strategy team seeks a Strategic Planning Lead, reporting to the Senior Strategy Manager.

You will develop and execute long-term strategic plans for the Commercial Lines division within our General Insurance business.

Main Responsibilities

  • Develop strategic plans, aligning with the broader Business strategy, for the Commercial Lines division.
  • Analyze markets, benchmark competitors, and research customer trends to identify opportunities for growth and innovation.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to translate strategy into operational deliverables and implement strategic initiatives.
  • Foster cross-functional collaboration to ensure strategic objectives are understood and executed within the business.
  • Lead portfolio reviews and implement corrective actions where necessary through effective delivery of remediation plans.
  • Advise senior leaders on emerging opportunities and challenges.
  • Manage critical projects, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and efficient execution.

Requirements

  • Strategy Consulting and/or General Insurance industry experience.
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills, influencing senior stakeholders.
  • Financial modeling skills.
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Business, Economics, or Finance, MBA preferred.
