Facilities Operations Manager

Scape is seeking a highly motivated Facilities Manager to join our Brisbane-based team. As a key member of our Facilities team, you will be responsible for managing the maintenance and upkeep of our properties, ensuring compliance with statutory and health & safety obligations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage programmed and reactive maintenance works across the Scape Brisbane portfolio.
- Oversee contractors and collaborate with the Regional Facilities Manager on financial planning and budgets.
- Administer Facilities Management software, covering works, asset, and contractor management applications.
- Lead a team of Facilities staff and work closely with the Regional Facilities Manager and other interstate Facilities Managers.
- Contribute to the overall strategic approach of Facilities, ensuring that planning is in place to maintain the highest standards of service.
Requirements:
- Experienced in a similar role.
- Exceptional organisational and coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong contractor management skills.
- A meticulous worker with excellent attention to detail, proactive in identifying and resolving issues.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- A solid understanding of legal requirements and statutory obligations related to buildings.
- Good knowledge of health and safety legislation.
