Facilities Operations Manager

CBRE is seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to join our high-performing team in Brisbane. As a key member of our Global Workplace Solutions division, you will be responsible for delivering efficient and cost-effective facilities management services to our premium A-grade clients.
Your primary focus will be on building strong relationships with clients, overseeing facilities inspections, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage facilities operations, including maintenance, repairs, and capital projects
- Develop and maintain client relationships to ensure first-class satisfaction
- Oversee facilities inspections, supervise repair work, and maintain office spaces
- Prepare annual operating and capital expenditure budgets
- Lead a small team, managing work schedules, assigning tasks, and mentoring team members
- Develop and implement environmental health and safety procedures
- Oversee financial and administrative functions, including reviewing purchase orders and monitoring invoicing procedures
- Collaborate with the Engineering and Guest Relations teams to evaluate new initiatives and innovations
- Monitor contractor procedures and work carried out to ensure safety standards are upheld
- Maintain the asset register and raise end-of-life requirements
Requirements:
- Strong facilities management background and experience in A-grade corporate office environments
- Polished corporate style, excellent relationship management skills, and high level competency with MS Office programs
- Proactive attitude, ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, and full working rights in Australia for a permanent position
