**Job Description**

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Gardening Support Assistant to join our team. This is a part-time position working 25.5 hours per week, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday.

The successful candidate will provide support to people over 65 residing in the Inner West and South West Sydney planning areas, assisting them in their independence and wellness by providing lawn mowing, easy care gardening, and garden support services.

This role requires strong interpersonal skills, empathy, and understanding of issues impacting the frail aged, people with disabilities, and their carers. You will need to demonstrate experience in lawn mowing, coordination of job schedules, and ability to work well with people from all backgrounds.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide a high standard of gardening service to allocated clients
  • Maintain tools and equipment belonging or used for the service
  • Communicate with and collect money from Garden Care clients
  • Data entry using electronic device, updating service and client details
  • Liaising with other Garden Care staff around service appointments

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Certificate II or Certificate III in Horticulture or equivalent
  • Current First Aid Certificate or willingness to obtain
  • Class C Drivers Licence
  • Excellent level of physical fitness and health
