Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Team Leader to join our Family Services Team at Upper Murray Family Care. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in overseeing and supporting frontline practitioners who deliver a range of services aimed at strengthening families and promoting the healthy development and safety of children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead case management and ensure compliance with quality and legal standards
  • Drive program development and team performance
  • Partner with the Family Services Senior Team Leader to provide support and supervision to practitioners in the team
  • Ensure effective, timely service delivery, staff support and coordination, internal and external relationship management, and compliance with all legal and quality standards
Requirements
  • Leadership skills and extensive experience in child-focused casework
  • Solid understanding of relevant legislation and practice models
  • Tertiary qualifications in Social Work, Psychology, or related fields
  • Excellent communication, adaptability, and emotional intelligence
