About the Position

The Fleet Operations Coordinator plays a pivotal role in overseeing our transportation network, ensuring seamless delivery of products across Perth and Western Australia regions.

This role involves coordinating daily truck routes and deliveries efficiently, scheduling drivers based on capacity and demand, and liaising with teams and customers to resolve issues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and allocate daily truck routes for maximum efficiency.
  • Schedule drivers based on capacity, demand, and customer needs.
  • Coordinate pickups and deliveries across multiple locations.
  • Liaise with drivers to ensure timely job completion and communicate with customers to provide updates.
  • Manage calls, emails, and bookings with accurate data entry and monitor fleet performance.
  • Maintain strong relationships with teams, drivers, and customers.
Requirements:
  • Experience in transport, logistics, or scheduling.
  • Strong knowledge of Perth metro and WA regions.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Skilled in planning and organizing driver runs.
  • Proactive, organized, and quick problem-solver.
  • Comfortable with new technologies and proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong relationship-building skills and commitment to customer service and safety.
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills.
