Research Associate Role

The Population Child Health research group at the School of Clinical Medicine UNSW is seeking a Research Associate to join their team. Job Description

The successful candidate will work closely with researchers to support statistical and epidemiological studies, including surveys, literature reviews, data collection and analysis. They will also assist in developing novel research methods and disseminating research outcomes through various channels.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • PhD in Epidemiology/Statistics or related field; equivalent level of expertise gained from experience, training or professional accreditation.
  • Proficiency in R, SAS, Stata and other statistical software packages; experience working with large datasets.
  • Designing and evaluating trials would be beneficial.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work collaboratively and build effective relationships with diverse stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have a strong academic record, excellent communication and project management skills, and a commitment to ongoing professional development.
