Job Opportunity

About the Role:

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a leading regional bank as a Third Party and Operational Risk Partner. You will support third party and operational risk management activities, adding significant value to our organisation.

You will be responsible for implementing an Operational Risk Management Framework within Group Technology division, focusing on executing risk requirements detailed in outsourcing and procurement policies. This includes developing a third-party risk maturity roadmap.

This challenging role requires you to bring a commercial and pragmatic lens to managing operational and third-party risks, providing guidance on risk acceptance and design of remediation plans while balancing risk and reward, board risk appetite and compliance requirements.

You will report to the Head of Technology risk, leading training sessions and initiatives within Group Technology.

About You

To succeed in this role, you will need to have extensive knowledge and proven experience of operational and third-party risk management frameworks and supporting standards, processes and practice. You should also have a solid understanding of basic IT government frameworks and APRA Prudential Standards.

A collaborative people and outcome-focused professional who thrives on working in a fast-paced environment is required. You must enjoy proactively communicating with stakeholders, providing expert advice on how to improve and maintain processes or increase understanding of project impacts.
