Software Quality Assurance Engineer

About this role

We are looking for a skilled Software Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team. As a Software Quality Assurance Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our software products by conducting thorough testing and providing detailed documentation of test results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing, developing, and executing comprehensive test plans, automation scripts, and manual test cases to verify the behaviour, functionality, and integrity of computer software.
  • Documenting test results in defect reports and related documentation, ensuring adherence to established testing protocols, guidelines, and quality standards.
  • Assessing and pinpointing potential risks within the software to ensure mitigation and resolution.
  • Continuously updating and maintaining comprehensive functional and regression test case documentation to reflect system expansions and updates.

Required Skills:

  • Demonstrated experience in mobile, web, and API software testing.
  • Experience with JavaScript test automation for API and web.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Excellent team player.
  • Outstanding critical thinking skills.
  • Outstanding attention to detail and solid analytical skills.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience in using JIRA to view and update testing tickets/requirements.
  • Experience using Figma.

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field or demonstrable equivalent industry experience.
