About the Role:

This role involves supporting individuals with disabilities or frail aged persons who require low or high-level care. Responsibilities include assisting with personal care, household tasks, and facilitating transport and community access as needed.

  • Assist clients with daily living activities, such as showering, dressing, and meal preparation
  • Perform household domestic cleaning tasks
  • Support clients with shopping, banking, and other errands
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients and their carers
  • Respond to emergencies and follow established procedures
  • Collaborate with clients and their carers to implement and review care plans

Potential Candidates Will Hold:

  • Australian working rights
  • Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent qualification
  • Certificate IV in Ageing Support
  • Certificate II HACC, Aged Care or higher (optional)
  • Previous experience in aged care (optional)
  • First Aid and CPR Certificate (optional)
  • Basic computer skills
  • Victorian/NSW Driver's licence

Potential Candidates Will Be Willing To Obtain/ Provide:

  • National Police check dated within 3 months
  • NDIS Workers Screening Check, Working-With-Children Check, and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases
