About the Role

We are seeking a part-time Maintenance Handyman to join our team at Oaks The Entrance Waterfront Suites.

As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for maintaining the presentation of guest rooms and public areas, as well as carrying out repairs within the property.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Undertake general repairs and maintenance as required;
  • Provide induction and supervision of external contractors;
  • Implement the preventative maintenance program for each property; and
  • Maintain daily work records and service schedules
Working Conditions

Hours of work may include Sunday to Monday, 6am-10pm. Contracted hours are 16 per week, with potential opportunities to work more hours.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Previous hands-on building maintenance experience;
  • Previous gardening experience;
  • A passion for delivering exceptional service;
  • Strong time management skills;
  • An excellent work ethic and proven ability to work unsupervised;
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
