Job Title: Financial Expert and Advisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Expert and Advisor to join our team at Visa Answer Overseas Education Consultants. In this role, you will be responsible for formulating budgetary and accounting policies, preparing financial statements, conducting financial investigations, and providing financial and taxation advice.

About the Role:
  • The successful candidate will have experience in preparing financial statements for presentation to boards of directors, management, shareholders, and governing and statutory bodies.
  • You will conduct financial investigations, prepare reports, undertake audits, and advise on matters such as the purchase and sale of businesses, mergers, capital financing, suspected fraud, insolvency, and taxation.
  • Your primary responsibility will be to examine operating costs and organisations' income and expenditure, providing assurance about the accuracy of information contained in financial reports and their compliance with statutory requirements.
  • You will also provide financial and taxation advice on business structures, plans, and operations, including preparing taxation returns for individuals and organisations.
  • In addition, you will liaise with financial institutions and brokers to establish funds management arrangements, introduce and maintain accounting systems, and advise on the selection and application of computer-based accounting systems.
  • Maintaining internal control systems and appraising cash flow and financial risk of capital investment projects are also key aspects of this role.
