Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pharmacist to join our team at World Courier (Aust) Pty. Ltd. as a Depot Pharmacist. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and integrity of all processes related to stored material, including reception, storage, shipment, return, and destruction, in accordance with SOPs and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Verify and sign operational jobs
  • Release shipments for distribution
  • Manage the change of product status both physically and systematically
  • Ensure compliance with all government legislative and local health requirements
  • Maintain and assure compliance with applicable ICH, GMP, GCP, GDP, local regulatory and legal requirements and World Courier Standard Operating Procedures
  • Comply with World Courier Standard Operating Procedures
  • Lead packaging instruction form for secondary packaging relabeling tasks
  • Perform quality checks on relabeling processes
  • Have deep knowledge of all protocols stored at WC Depot
  • Verify and organize all documentation received, shipment arrival conditions, storage, and extra documentation related to products received at the Depot
  • Be in daily contact with WC Customers to provide support concerning protocols stored at WC Depot
  • Have deep knowledge about WC Depot installations and equipment
  • Be aware and contribute to possible problems arising from personnel management
  • Assist the Team Leader with work allocation and daily schedules
  • Manage the status of product to ensure expired stock is moved to Quarantine status
  • Participate in reviewing and authoring global and local SOPs, WI's, and TRN documents
  • Work in all temperature-controlled environments
  • Physically perform packing processes of inbound, outbound, and returned shipments
  • Participate in occasional scheduled weekend tasks for stock control and balance sheet processes
  • Lead continuous Improvement initiatives to ensure processes are streamlined
Requirements
  • Required: Degree in Pharmacy (or Diploma Holder as a Pharmacist, according to local regulations) and Full command of English
  • Preferred: Experience in a management role and preferably in the Clinical Trial business
  • Position will require being able to lift loads up to 20kg independently using safe lifting methods described in manual handling training
  • Excellent interpersonal relationships
  • Be able to take initiatives and solve problems
  • Self-driven and can work autonomously
  • Intermediate computer skills
  • An understanding of Imports and Exports processes and statutory requirements
  • Intermediate experience using the Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Sound level of numeracy and demonstrated attention to detail
  • Sound written and verbal communication skills with a full command of English
  • Problems-solving skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work flexibly within tight time schedules and in accordance with variable workload demands
  • A calm and customer-focused approach
