Job Overview

The Colleague Communications Manager plays a pivotal role in shaping and influencing colleague communications across the Group.

This involves developing and executing comprehensive communication plans to support business goals and priorities, creating engaging activities for 11,000 colleagues spanning over 20 countries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Communication & Engagement: Develop and implement internal communications strategies to support business initiatives, change programs, and colleague engagement.
  • Content Creation & Messaging: Craft compelling written content for internal platforms, including messaging that resonates with colleagues.
  • Stakeholder & Crisis Communication: Provide expert advice to leaders on communicating sensitive or complex messages.
  • Measuring Impact & Continuous Improvement: Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of communications initiatives, using insights to refine strategies and improve engagement.

Requirements:

  • Strong stakeholder management experience is essential.
  • Excellent project management and writing skills are required.
  • Experience working in cross-functional, matrix teams is highly desirable.
  • A collaborative, positive mindset and familiarity with modern internal communications tools are necessary.

The position will be based in Newcastle, supporting a fast-paced and demanding but fun environment.
