Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Software Development Leader to lead our software development team in delivering scalable solutions that align with our business goals and technology vision.

This role is based at one of our offices located in Toowong, North Lakes or Kawana.

Responsibilities
  • Manage a proficient team, providing leadership, mentorship and guidance to drive efficiency, collaboration and excellence in software development practices.
  • Support delivery of business initiatives, ensuring technical alignment across responsible business development teams.
  • Contribute to Divisional Roadmaps for system & process transformations.
  • Engage in priority conversations across business projects from a development capability perspective.
  • Act as a key Technology SME, providing input into the aligned divisional strategy on how technology can be leveraged to achieve desired business outcomes.
  • Ensure all business-led technical solutions meet compliance and risk standards.
  • Manage incidents, root cause assessment and remediation within your area or in association with recently delivered solutions.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Broad and deep business domain knowledge required, working in partnership with respective business GMs.
  • High level of commercial acumen essential for crafting effective solutions to address intricate business challenges.
  • Deep understanding of industry best practices in software analysis, architecture, design and development.
  • Ability to identify patterns and solutions across multiple business verticals, enabling increased collaboration and reducing silo behaviors.
