Job Title: Track and Civil Discipline Specialist

The Maintenance Engineer role encompasses a blend of technical expertise and strategic oversight. As a Track and Civil Discipline Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring site safety, quality, and environmental controls are met.

This position involves monitoring the execution of Technical Maintenance Plans, providing engineering support to maintenance and projects teams, and making informed decisions to drive project success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support and monitor the execution of Technical Maintenance Plans.
  • Making delegated Engineering authority decisions to drive project progress.
  • Ensuring defect management practices meet contractual requirements.
  • Collaborating with Civil Maintenance Engineers on asset performance analysis.
  • Analyzing data to produce progress and project performance reports.
  • Procuring specialist equipment for projects.
  • Demonstrating new technologies.
  • Supporting project identification, prioritization, and scoping.
  • Preparing expenditure budgets, reports, and forecasts.
  • Assisting with incident management and rectification.
  • Reviewing plans, designs, and providing constructive feedback.
  • Coordinating construction engineering activities.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent industry experience.
  • Degree in Asset Management, Infrastructure, or Maintenance Management (Preferred).
  • Chartered Engineering Status (Preferred).
  • Minimum 3-5 years railway engineering experience in a similar role.
