Job Overview

Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Care: Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care for patients, ensuring their physical, emotional, and psychological needs are met.
  • Clinical Skills: Administer medications, perform procedures, monitor vital signs, and respond promptly to changes in patient condition.
  • Communication: Effectively communicate with doctors, allied health professionals, patients, and families to ensure safe and effective care.

Required Qualifications
  • AHPRA Registration: Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency.
  • Clinical Experience: Demonstrated recent clinical experience in an acute care setting, preferably in a hospital environment.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to work independently, efficiently, and effectively during periods of high demand and activity.
  • Teamwork: Proven ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve shared goals and objectives.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills, ensuring effective interactions with colleagues, patients, and families.
