We are currently hiring skilled Horticultural Maintenance Specialists to assist with various tasks related to garden maintenance at Green by Nature. This is a hands-on role that requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.

This position offers a competitive salary of $70,000 per annum, based on your ability to create amazing gardens, as well as a Monday to Friday work schedule with early start and early finish.

About the Role

  • Assist with garden maintenance tasks such as hedging, weeding, pruning, and mulching.
  • Operate hand tools and power equipment safely and effectively under the guidance of experienced team members.
  • Load and unload materials, plants, and equipment from trucks and trailers.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of work areas, tools, and equipment.
  • Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your team members.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will have previous experience in landscaping, gardening, or a related field, and be able to lift and carry heavy objects, bend, squat, kneel, and stand for extended periods. They will also need to work outdoors in various weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, and the sun.
