Ed Equipment Technician

We are seeking an experienced Ed Equipment Technician to join our ITAD team in Sydney. As part of a fast-paced and rapidly growing company, we provide complete documentation, electronic products and specialist fabric destruction and recycling solutions for all types of businesses.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Ensure Health & Safety standards are adhered to, with safety being our top priority.
  • Manage equipment and troubleshoot hardware issues with a minimum of two years' experience.
  • Refurbish hardware primarily focusing on PCs and laptops.
  • Set up and manage LAN networks.
  • Install and manage operating systems.
  • Receive and record materials using software.
  • Utilize data erasure software.
  • Harvest and test equipment parts.
  • Dismantle e-waste for commodity types.
  • Operate tools as required.
  • Follow instructions from the ITAD Team Leader.

**Requirements:**

  • A valid Driver's License and reliable transportation preferred due to limited public transport.
  • Previous working experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent physical stamina and manual dexterity, requiring you to be physically fit for manual handling.
  • Ability to work autonomously and independently.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Problem-solving skills.
