  • Manage complex cases skillfully.
  • Precept and mentor junior staff, sharing knowledge of training and teaching methods.
  • Develop rapport with patients and co-workers through interpersonal skills.
  • Conduct laboratory procedures and collect samples according to guidelines.
  • Perform routine, urgent, and emergency medical care.
  • Triages patients and provides medical advice within scope of practice.
  • Check blood pressure and weight, perform electrocardiograms (EKGs), draw blood, and collect urine samples.
  • Manage mail, laboratory, and x-ray reports dispatch and filing.
  • Maintain clean and safe clinic environments.
  • Oversee sterilization equipment and manage the 'clean' and 'dirty' utility rooms.
  • Complete organizational compliance education as required for certifications such as Joint Commission Healthcare Staffing Services or other regulatory bodies.
