The role of a Guest Service Assistant is pivotal in ensuring every guest has a seamless and enjoyable experience. This position reports directly to the Guest Service Manager and is part of a cohesive team based at our hotel in Ipswich.
The key responsibilities of this role include:
- Supporting your hotel in achieving all brand and company metrics and objectives
- Building and developing relationships with guests, assessing their needs and adapting style and approach accordingly
- Ensuring all repeat guests, priority members, and VIPs receive recognition and appreciation
- Following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistent hospitality for all guests
- Maintaining a high level of product and service knowledge about all hotels in your region and promoting the hotel, products, and services to all guests
Beyond these core duties, you will embody our company values and culture, prioritizing service excellence above all else.
Other organizations may refer to this role as Front Office Assistant or Food and Beverage Assistant, Guest Experience Assistant, Hotel Services Assistant.

Ideally, you will have previous experience in a fast-paced, customer-facing role and a passion for delivering outstanding Customer Service. The ability to anticipate guests' needs is highly desirable. You should also be comfortable using a range of technology, including MS Office.
