Infrastructure Planning and Development Opportunity

As a Graduate Civil Engineer, you will play a key role in planning, designing, building, operating, and maintaining transport infrastructure across Queensland.

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Deliver the Transport Infrastructure Program and manage investments.
    • Participate in routine maintenance, rehabilitation, and resurfacing programs.
    • Support contract management and collaborate on delivery and emergency response.
    • Contribute to traffic management initiatives, including signal optimization, congestion mitigation, and intelligent transport systems.

Specialisations and Development:

  • Opportunities to specialise in areas like road safety, asset management, geotechnical, hydrology, traffic engineering, and ITS.
  • Rotational development plan over 18–24 months, including project delivery, governance, and safety management.

Candidates must have a Bachelor of Civil Engineering or relevant postgraduate qualification. Alternatively, provide evidence from Engineers Australia that your skills meet the standard.
