This is a unique chance for a visionary leader to make a lasting impact on the lives of 82,000 residents in a city spanning 154 square kilometres.

The successful candidate will support councillors, staff and the community in developing and delivering a clear vision for a vibrant and sustainable region.

About the Role

The CEO will be responsible for embedding a culture of continuous improvement, providing leadership, fostering local economic development, and demonstrating a commitment to the region and its people.

This is an opportunity for a highly regarded leader with a history of leading organisations through periods of change. You will have developed cultures that both you and the organisation are proud of, with a focus on outcomes.

Essential skills include highly developed communication and advocacy skills, ability to develop effective partnerships, and familiarity with relevant legislation within the Local Government context.
