Job Title: Housekeeping Manager

We are seeking an experienced leader to oversee all housekeeping operations, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing daily housekeeping activities, collaborating with other departments, and driving results in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leadership experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to adapt to changing priorities. If you are passionate about delivering exceptional service and maintaining high standards, we want to hear from you.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily housekeeping operations, ensuring seamless execution and excellent guest experiences.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet property-wide cleanliness requirements and achieve business objectives.
  • Develop and manage staff rosters to optimize resource utilization and drive efficiency.
  • Conduct regular inspections to verify that all areas meet expected standards and readiness for guest arrivals.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and workplace health and safety policies across all housekeeping activities.
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels of cleaning supplies, ensuring timely procurement and cost control.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum 1-3 years of experience in a housekeeping leadership role.
  • Proven ability to manage teams, with a focus on staff engagement and development.
  • Experience working with property management systems (PMS) is advantageous.
  • In-depth understanding of safety standards, with experience ensuring compliance in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Experience with end of month stocktakes.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Exceptional eye for detail, with a commitment to maintaining high presentation standards.
  • Professional demeanor, with the ability to stay calm under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Ability to work rotating rosters including weekends and Public Holidays.
