About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Development Engineer to join our team at Kogan.com. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for managing the ERP (SAP B1) production environment, ensuring high availability and performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the ERP (SAP B1) production environment, including the server, database, and integrations.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues within both in-house built services and external integrations.
  • Improve production services' health, reliability, and observability.
  • Optimise database performance and load.
  • Juggle several requests simultaneously, demonstrating excellent time management and prioritisation skills.
  • Take the lead in investigating potential security incidents.
  • Work closely with the engineering team, stakeholders, and other departments to provide SAP support and set clear delivery expectations.
Requirements
  • Strong skills in SQL Server management, including writing and optimising queries, stored procedures, and views.
  • Experience in managing large-scale database performance and ensuring data integrity.
  • Competent in developing software using C# or similar language.
  • Experience with ERP systems and internal Web and Application Development.
  • Competent in System Administration and adept at managing and maintaining system health and security.
  • Skilled in operating and building software running on Windows environments.
  • Problem solver, demonstrated expertise in diagnosing and debugging production issues efficiently within a distributed system architecture.
  • Time management and prioritisation.
  • Collaboration and communication.
