We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Lecturer to join our team in the St Vincent's Healthcare Clinical Campus. This is an exciting opportunity for an academic leader who can inspire students and contribute meaningfully to the academic community.

About the Role:

This Senior Lecturer position plays a key role in delivering high-quality, student-centred education and conducting impactful research. The successful candidate will lead and contribute to course design, assessment, and evaluation across undergraduate and postgraduate programs.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in specialty research and clinical practice, as well as experience in teaching and learning design using a range of pedagogical approaches.

Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Design and deliver innovative teaching and learning experiences that ensure alignment with best-practice pedagogy.">
  • Lead and contribute to course design, assessment, and evaluation across undergraduate and postgraduate programs.">
  • Conduct high-quality research that is nationally recognised and develop research groups in their area of expertise.">
  • Mentor students and colleagues, supervise Higher Degree Research (HDR) candidates to timely completion, and build strong professional and industry networks.">

Requirements:

  • ">
  • A medical degree and Fellowship of the RACP (or comparable international equivalent).">
  • Eligible for registration as a medical practitioner with AHPRA.">
  • A PhD in a related discipline, and/or relevant work experience will be desirable.">
  • Proven commitment to proactively keeping up to date with discipline knowledge and developments.">
  • Demonstrated experience in teaching and learning design using a range of pedagogical approaches.">
