Emergency Medicine Specialist Role

Gladstone Hospital is a regional medical facility offering a range of services to the local community. This position provides an opportunity for a doctor to develop their skills in Emergency Medicine within a supportive environment.

About the Position
  • The Emergency Department handles approximately 36,500 presentations annually, including around 25% paediatrics cases.
  • This department is accredited for FACEM, FACRRM, and GP training with excellent pathway support.
  • Clinicians work alongside experienced Emergency Consultants committed to teaching and career development.
  • Participation in acute and high-acuity case management across various clinical areas.
Key Requirements
  • MBBS or equivalent qualification is required.
  • AHPRA registration is necessary, with Level 3 supervision or higher.
  • International Medical Graduates must provide AMC MCQ (Part 1) completion, IELTS or equivalent English proficiency test, evidence of recency of practice, and current Basic Life Support certification.
Benefits Package
  • Total remuneration up to $169,083 per annum.
  • Salary range $125,808 – $145,865 per annum.
  • 12.75% superannuation + 17.5% leave loading.
