About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an Environment Advisor to join UGL's Major Projects division in Western Australia.

As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the implementation of environmental management plans, providing direction on managing local environmental risks, and applying sustainability principles to create long-term economic value.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement environmental management plans to minimize the impact of construction activities.
  • Provide guidance on environmental policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant legislation and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement sustainability projects and initiatives.
  • Monitor and report on environmental performance to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with government agencies, business groups, and community stakeholders to promote sustainability and environmental best practices.

About You

  • Tertiary qualifications in Environmental Science, Sustainability, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in environmental management, sustainability, or a related field, preferably in the civil construction industry.
  • Strong understanding of Western Australian environmental legislation and industry standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on delivering results.
