About Our Team

The Data Engineering team at Vanguard establishes technical excellence by understanding critical data, its location, and usage. This role involves working closely with this team to develop and roll out Entity Relationship Diagrams, focusing on documenting our current data landscape and future Data Lakehouse infrastructure.

We're looking for an individual with a strong understanding of Business Intelligence, Kimball Methodology, Data Vault 2.0, and other design principles for data modeling. Strong SQL skills for data exploration, excellent communication and presentation skills, and experience working in Data & Analytics teams are also essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of Entity Relationship Diagrams, ensuring alignment with business requirements.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the business to ensure data quality and security efforts are met.
  • Develop Entity Relationship Diagrams showcasing the physical, logical, and conceptual makeup of our holistic data sources and target databases.
  • Liaise with the Engineering team to build a modern solution enabling self-serve data.
