National Australia Bank is seeking a highly skilled Enterprise Data Architect Manager to lead our team of data modellers in designing and documenting how enterprise data is structured and managed within the bank.



The Role

  • You will lead and coordinate resources required to implement and deliver strategic programs of work
  • Undertake data modelling, mapping and related activities
  • Support enterprise conformance production
  • Develop and implement data modelling principles and processes
  • Provide leadership to project and engineering teams on matters of modelling and data architecture
  • Provide advice to internal data governance and architecture forum


Your Experience

  • 7+ years of experience in data modelling, its associated practices, processes and knowledge along with some experience leading a team of data modellers
  • Demonstrated record of building trusted relationships with business partners and key stakeholders
  • Experience in large enterprises and financial services firms
  • Proficiency and experience with Erwin, IBM or FSDM data models
  • Results driven, analytical and creative thinking and problem solving
  • A calm demeanour in the face of adversity, with a resilience to setbacks
  • Prior experience working in an agile squad environment
  • Tertiary qualification or equivalent in information systems, mathematics, science or engineering; a post graduate qualification is also a nice to have
  • Experience with Databricks is a nice to have
