Aurecon is seeking a highly skilled Power Systems Engineer to join our team of experts in the energy sector. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in advising clients on the development and implementation of power generation projects, energy storage projects, and power networks operation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Advise clients on the development and implementation of power generation projects, energy storage projects, and power networks operation.
  • Collaborate with a team of specialists in power systems analysis and planning to work on complex projects.
  • Provide high-quality and timely advice to clients on their power systems operation and development.
  • Lead the deployment of innovative projects in the energy storage and inverters-based generation markets.
  • Perform power system studies using commercial software and analyze results to explain system behaviors.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of electrical engineering and power systems theory. You will also require experience with power system modeling software such as PSSE, PSCAD, and Powerfactory. Additionally, you will need to have a degree in a relevant field and at least 5-10 years of post-graduation experience in a power industry role.
