The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our retail team as a Retail Sales Associate. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, identifying customer needs, and presenting suitable solutions. You will work closely with our customers to understand their requirements and provide expert advice on our products and services.

Responsibilities
  • Assist customers in finding innovative solutions using Stratco products and materials
  • Engage in face-to-face and telephone sales to meet customer needs
  • Prepare project quotations and sales proposals to meet customer requirements
  • Collaborate with customers to design custom products such as patios, verandahs, sheds, and fences
  • Participate in training and personal development sessions to enhance product knowledge and skills
  • Adhere to Stratco's safety and other policies to ensure a safe working environment
About You
  • A passion for delivering outstanding customer service and a proven ability to provide solutions and drive sales
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills to effectively engage with customers
  • A hands-on, practical approach with good technical ability to understand product features and benefits
  • Computer literacy to effectively use sales and customer relationship management tools
  • An eye for detail to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple customers and priorities
  • A growth mindset and a desire to develop within the business
  • Flexibility to work Saturdays and adapt to changing customer needs
