Postdoctoral Researcher

We are seeking a highly motivated and exceptional PhD researcher to join our team at Monash University. As part of an ARC-funded project on Anticipatory Policy Design, this scholarship will provide you with the opportunity to work alongside leading researchers in the field of public policy.
This research project aims to design and evaluate new policies that can effectively address complex societal challenges. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting rigorous qualitative research, analyzing data, and developing policy recommendations.
To be considered for this position, applicants must have a strong academic background in Social Science, preferably with interests in Public Policy. Proficiency in qualitative research methods is essential, and prior experience in policy analysis or evaluation is highly desirable.
The selection committee will prioritize applicants holding an Australian Honour's or Master's degree (in a relevant field) with first-class honours/H1, featuring a significant research component. We encourage applications from students who are committed to pursuing a career in academia or policy-making.
Scholarship holders must be enrolled full-time on campus and are expected to commence their studies by June 2025. Some flexibility may be allowed regarding the start date, subject to approval.
