Electrical Apprentice Job

This is a unique opportunity for individuals to pursue a career in electrical trade and become a nationally recognized Electrician. The role offers a diverse and hands-on experience, where one can gain the skills and knowledge needed to excel in this field.

The Electrical Apprentice will be working closely with industry leaders and gaining hands-on experience with cutting-edge water technology. They will learn on the job while earning a competitive wage that increases annually, plus superannuation, applicable allowances and overtime.

As an Electrical apprentice, you'll be part of a dynamic team responsible for delivering and managing water across our state. Your contribution will play a vital role in shaping WA's water future.

To be successful in this role, you'll need to have a WA 'C Class' Driver's Licence, or be actively working towards obtaining one. You'll also need to complete Year 12 (or Year 10 in some cases) and have a desire to pursue a trade.

You should have a positive attitude and a strong willingness to learn, as well as a solid awareness of safety and a commitment to working safely. Motivation, enthusiasm, and a genuine interest in hands-on work are essential for this role.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable performing physical tasks including manual labor, precision work in workshops or field environments, and some handling of dangerous goods. They'll also need to be able to learn and eventually perform the full scope of work expected of a qualified tradesperson, with appropriate training and supervision.
