Outside School Hours Care Assistant

This exciting new opportunity is for a skilled and passionate individual who can create a safe, engaging learning environment for children in Outside School Hours Care.

We are looking for someone with strong communication and people skills to deliver daily quality activities that are safe, fun, stimulating, and carry educational value.

The ideal candidate will have a Certificate III or higher in Children's Services, Early Childhood, School Aged care (or studying towards) or equivalent, and be willing to obtain a Working with Children Check and First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis & Asthma Management Training.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality activities for children after school hours
  • Supervise and support children to ensure their safety and well-being
  • Prepare and serve healthy food options to promote healthy eating habits
  • Build meaningful relationships with colleagues, families, school leaders, and the community
Requirements
  • Engaging and warm personality
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Certificate III or higher in Children's Services, Early Childhood, School Aged care (or studying towards)
  • Working with Children Check (willing to obtain)
  • First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis & Asthma Management Training (or willing to obtain)
