Role Overview

The Adolescent and Family Counsellor plays a pivotal role in providing support and promoting reconciliation between young people and their families.

By focusing on strengths-based approaches, the counsellor helps young people achieve personal goals and facilitates development of skills to prevent family separation.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing person-centred support to young people and families
  • Effecting reconciliation through a strengths-based approach
  • Building and developing skills to help individual young people achieve personal goals

To succeed in this role, you will require strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work with diverse populations and build relationships.

We are looking for an experienced counsellor who is passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of young people and their families. If you have a strong background in social work or a related field, we encourage you to apply.

Key Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Social Work or a related field
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role
