Global Risk Management Professional

The Financial Crime Specialist plays a vital role in ensuring the integrity of our financial systems by conducting customer due diligence, investigating suspicious activities, and monitoring transactions for potential risks.
This position requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and collaboration abilities. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of financial crime regulations and risk mitigation strategies.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct customer due diligence and enhanced customer due diligence tasks
- Investigate and clear alerts, including sanctions, PEPs, and adverse media screening
- Perform event-driven and periodic reviews to identify potential risks
- Monitor transactions for suspicious activity and coordinate remediations
- Educate stakeholders on financial crime knowledge and best practices
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in financial crime or a related field
- Knowledge of financial crime regulations and risk mitigation strategies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Degree qualification preferred
- Banking and financial services experience an asset
