About the Role

Arcadis is seeking a highly skilled Senior Civil Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our design delivery team, you will be responsible for contributing to the development of innovative solutions for complex civil engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design delivery process from feasibility studies to detailed design and construction, ensuring high-quality outcomes that meet client expectations.
  • Coordinate small project teams to achieve project goals and objectives.
  • Present design concepts and solutions to clients and senior management, effectively communicating technical information and project progress.
  • Ensure technical quality assurance and report writing, maintaining accurate and detailed records of project activities.
  • Participate in client workshops and engage with key stakeholders to build strong relationships and deliver successful projects.
  • Manage selected projects, meeting budgetary, quality, and timeframe targets, and contribute to the development of project proposals and business cases.
  • Build and consolidate networks within the industry, fostering partnerships and collaborations that drive business growth and innovation.
Requirements
  • Highly regarded technical report writing competency, with the ability to communicate complex technical information effectively.
  • Proven agility to work across multiple projects simultaneously, coordinating design teams and liaising with clients to deliver high-quality outcomes.
  • Experience working on projects with government authorities, such as TMR, Brisbane City Council, or interstate counterparts, with a strong understanding of relevant regulations and standards.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other design disciplines to ensure the integrity of the overall design, and present design options and decisions to stakeholders.
