Commercial Procurement Specialist

An APS 6 Commercial Support Officer is responsible for managing in-service support contracts, undertaking procurement activities and providing advice on procurement policy and procedures.

The commercial team supports and enables the broader SPO team by providing contract management and procurement services. Effective contract management and supplier relationship management are key to the delivery of seaworthy ships to Navy.
This role involves working closely with stakeholders to identify and implement effective solutions to complex procurement challenges. The successful applicant will be able to work independently and as part of a team, applying strong analytical and problem-solving skills to deliver results.
Key to this role is the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, customers and other stakeholders. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for success in this position.
