Job Description:

We are seeking an individual to ensure compliance with legislation, policies, and procedures to reduce risk and enhance safety. This role will support the development and implementation of initiatives to manage workplace safety.

The successful candidate will be responsible for updating records, managing certificates of capacity, and communicating with insurers. Additionally, they will report on incidents, conduct audits, and manage HSE Committee meetings and agendas.

This position requires a high level of organisational skills, excellent communication skills, both written and oral, as well as customer focus. The ideal candidate will possess intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office suite knowledge and a tertiary/TAFE OH&S or related qualification.

  • Ensure compliance with work safe NSW framework
  • Develop and implement initiatives to reduce incidents and manage workplace safety
  • Manage HSE Committee meetings and agendas
  • Coordinate monthly OHS Meetings
  • Maintain accurate training records, site procedures, and SOPS

Key Requirements:

  • Tertiary/TAFE OH&S or related qualification
  • Intermediate to advanced level Microsoft Office suite knowledge
  • Customer focused (internal & external)
  • Attention to detail
  • High organisational skills and excellent communication skills
