This role is crucial in ensuring the safety and reliability of our overhead network assets for our valued customers.

You'll work to the highest standards of quality, inspecting, installing, and maintaining overhead network infrastructure and electrical equipment.

Your expertise will ensure smooth operations near live electrical apparatus.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing work sites
  • Liaising with key contacts
  • Resolving customer complaints
  • Interpreting technical documentation
  • Participating in emergency restoration work

To be successful, you'll need:

  1. A qualification in line work (Cert III in ESI Power Systems or equivalent)
  2. Proven experience in an electrical trade role within the electricity distribution or related industry
  3. A Class MR driver's license
  4. Educated in Electrical Safety Rules accreditation and other relevant statutory training
  5. Solid knowledge of statutes, regulations, and procedures such as safe working practices, network standards, and codes of practice
