A Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) Manager is responsible for developing, implementing and overseeing health, safety and environmental programs within an organization.

Their primary goal is to ensure a safe and healthy work environment and minimize environmental impact while ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop HSE policies, procedures and standards that comply with legislation and company policies
  • Conduct risk assessments to detect potential hazards and implement preventive measures
  • Create and maintain HSE reports and metrics to track and evaluate the effectiveness of HSE programs
  • Provide training and support to ensure compliance with HSE policies and regulations
  • Create emergency response plans and participate in drills and exercises
  • Investigate incidents to determine root causes and develop corrective actions
  • Liaise with regulatory agencies and industry groups to stay updated on new regulations
