About this RoleYou'll collaborate with data scientists, AI/ML engineers, and other specialists to design, develop, and maintain data warehouses, processing pipelines, and databases for both structured and unstructured data.
Your Responsibilities- Architect, build, and maintain secure, reliable, and scalable data warehouses and data lakes to support machine learning and AI model training, validation, testing, and production, using structured and unstructured data sources.
- Design and implement end-to-end data processing pipelines, ETL processes, and orchestration workflows to enable efficient data integration and processing for AI/ML model development.
- Transform raw data into clean, structured, and high-quality features for AI/ML models — including data labelling, augmentation, feature extraction, version control, validation, cleansing, and deduplication to maintain data accuracy and integrity.
- Develop and enforce data governance, security, and compliance measures, including encryption, access controls, authentication, and regulatory requirements, to safeguard sensitive data assets.
- Create robust monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions for data pipelines and assets, proactively identifying performance issues and delivering optimisation improvements for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
- We're looking for individuals with 3+ years of hands-on experience in data warehousing, data lakes, ETL processes, and data modelling.
- Candidates should have strong programming skills in Python and SQL, with a solid understanding of data processing and manipulation.
- A Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field is required.
- Proven experience working with cloud platforms and services such as AWS S3, EMR, Redshift, Glue, and Athena is essential.
- Familiarity in designing and implementing scalable data processing pipelines, with tools like DBT and strong knowledge of database management for ML/AI projects is a must.
