About the Role

The ideal candidate will design and document scalable, high-performance data models using SQL and DBT.
You will develop user stories and customer personas to guide data product development.
A key aspect of this role is conducting advanced data analysis using AI techniques to support strategic decisions.
The successful candidate will estimate project timelines and resources, collaborating with delivery leads for efficient execution.
Post-deployment support is essential to ensure data solutions remain effective and responsive.
You will oversee data definitions and classifications to ensure compliance with governance standards.
Collaboration with the data product team is crucial to maintain data security, integrity, and compliance.
Staying current with industry best practices in data engineering and DBT is vital for success in this role.
About You/Qualifications
We require a candidate with a strong background in AI, data science, and engineering deployment.
Experience as a data scientist in complex data products is essential.
Building and activating AI models for decisioning, optimisation, and automation is critical for this role.
Familiarity with Vertex AI, PyTorch/TensorFlow, LangChain, LlamaIndex, and orchestration APIs is necessary.
MLOps, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud infrastructure (e.g., GCP, Terraform, Kubernetes) experience is highly desirable.
The ability to build and integrate AI agents into production environments and business workflows is essential.
Advanced proficiency in machine learning, deep learning, natural language processing is required.
Strong command of SQL, BigQuery, and DBT for data engineering is essential.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into strategic outcomes are critical.
Proven leadership in stakeholder engagement and workshop facilitation is highly desirable.
Excellent communication skills for conveying complex data concepts are essential.
Adaptability and problem-solving in dynamic environments are vital for success in this role.
A Bachelor's degree or higher in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant field experience is required.
