Are you a project management expert with a passion for water infrastructure projects?
As a project manager, you will collaborate with experienced engineers and design managers to develop detailed project plans, monitor timelines and budgets, and provide regular status updates to stakeholders.
The role involves planning, coordinating, and executing key water projects according to the corporate project management framework. You will also prepare and monitor project safety plans to ensure our SaferTogether culture is upheld and documented.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate, and execute water projects according to the corporate project management framework.
- Develop detailed project plans, monitor timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
- Provide regular status updates and reports on project progress and outcomes.
- Prepare and monitor project safety plans to ensure our SaferTogether culture is upheld and documented.
- Drive process improvements and streamline workflows to optimize project outcomes.
- Identify and alleviate project risks to ensure efficient delivery.
Requirements:
- Tertiary qualifications in engineering, science, or a related discipline.
- Up to 5 years experience as a Project Manager or an Engineer aspiring to become a Project Manager.
- Previous experience working within a consultancy will be highly regarded.
- Experience engaging with clients in Government, Water, Environment, major construction, and infrastructure projects.
- A sound understanding of project management frameworks, preferably with Project Management qualifications/certifications.
- Broad appreciation and interest in water infrastructure projects, including water and sewerage networks, treatment plants, resources, dams, and hydropower.
- Strong commitment to safety and understanding of WHS best practice and obligations.
