Your Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the audit engagement by defining audit strategy in consultation with senior managers/executives and executing it in compliance with policies and protocols.
  • Effectively manage the audit process with appropriate consideration of audit risk issues and accounting technical matters.
  • Lead and manage fieldwork on clients' sites, including liaising with other departments to ensure smooth delivery of the audit process.
  • Leverage your expertise in accounting frameworks (IFRS) and related financial reporting matters.
Key Skills and Qualifications
  • A degree and/or progress towards/completion of a recognized accounting qualification (CA, CPA, ACCA or equivalent).
  • Proven experience in delivering external audit and assurance engagements.
  • Experience leading the planning, execution, and reporting on audits.
  • The ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing their concerns, and providing value-added recommendations.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills and a collaborative approach to management.
  • The ability to create a positive learning culture and coach and counsel junior team members to help them develop.
