Electrician - Underground Maintenance

As an Electrician in our underground mine, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities. You will be responsible for performing planned electrical maintenance, responding to breakdowns, and troubleshooting HV/LV systems and motors.
You must have a strong understanding of electrical principles and experience in an underground mining environment. A Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician (UEE30820) and South Australian A class Electrical license (or ability to obtain) are required.
You will work closely with our operations team to provide technical expertise and support operational relationships. Effective communication skills and basic PLC knowledge are essential. Working at Heights and Confined Space competencies are desirable.
Responsibilities:
- Performing planned electrical maintenance
- Responding to breakdowns and troubleshooting HV/LV systems and motors
- Working closely with operations team
Qualifications and Experience:
- Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician (UEE30820)
- South Australian A class Electrical license (or ability to obtain)
- Experience in underground mining environment preferred
- Effective communication skills
