Job Description

As a Booking Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in maximizing Food & Beverage operations by converting enquiries into bookings, delivering exceptional customer service, and ensuring familiarity with the property.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process restaurant reservations and group bookings using designated systems
  • Book Private Gaming Tables, Private Booths, Cabanas, and Packages
  • Host clients for tailored site inspections, recommending menus, discussing minimum spend requirements, theming, and AV options
  • Confirm final numbers and dietary requirements within set time frames
  • Ensure thorough communication of all event information to relevant restaurants and departments

Requirements:

  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Thorough knowledge of The Star Gold Coast restaurants and property
  • Knowledge of Opera advantageous
  • Flexible availability to suit business needs

About You:

In this role, you will need a friendly, professional attitude, high attention to detail, and knowledge of the property and current promotions and offers. Your role will be instrumental in shaping the success of Food & Beverage operations at The Star.
